With our dedication to safe playgrounds and a stated purpose to "Enrich Children's Play Environments", Safeplay Systems™ has formed a special relationship with the environment.  We have always been mindful that as we design and manufacture materials and products that are acted upon by the environment, we must favorably act upon it in turn.

Safeplay Systems™ makes stewardship a vital part of our daily business.  By employing recycled materials, adopting environmentally sustainable processes, producing products that are themselves recyclable, and implementing energy efficient manufacturing solutions and the use of "green" products wherever possible we exceed our customers' expectation for high-design, high-quality products that contribute to the well being of our planet.

Safeplay Systems™ products are designed and engineered to perform long, useful lives in outdoor spaces with a minimum of maintenance.  We test our products to IPEMA standards.  Products are designed to easily allow replacement of vandalized parts.  Our longevity and low maintenance goals translate into better stewardship of the earth's resources.

Striving Toward Sustainability....

EcoPlay® is made from recycled milk jugs (HDPE) and some additives for strength, color and UV protection.  EcoPlay® contains NO FIBERGLASS.  Safeplay Systems™ extrudes EcoPlay® in our playground factory as a commitment to our environment and to further assure that only the highest quality materials are used in our products.  We additionally recycle all of the internally generated off-fall and scrap associated with our normal course of production.

Our environmental commitment extends to the recycling of as many materials as possible from all parts of our business: from packaging, to the oil from our trucks, to the magazines and trade journals in the office.  We are committed!  We are a TRIPLE BOTTOM LINE supplier.

YOU CAN HELP!

Completion of the sustainability cycle occurs when your old EcoPlay® playground has finally served its' intended purpose; it may be returned to us and we will re-recycle the materials, providing components for new playground equipment.  In fact, as a reward for recycling, we'll give you credit toward your new EcoPlay® playground in exchange for the materials you return!  Please contact us when you wish to participate in a TRULY SUSTAINABLE playground program.
